Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Haematology Fellow to join our team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. This exciting opportunity will provide the successful candidate with the chance to gain focused experience in the clinical management of haemoglobinopathy and bleeding conditions.

The post holder will be responsible for covering all aspects of red cell haematology and bleeding disorders, including inpatient and outpatient work, haematology day case, ambulatory red cell exchange, perioperative management and obstetric haematology.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in service improvement activity and independent audit, as well as clinical work. There is also the possibility of focussed training within the wider haemoglobinopathy and haemophilia network, depending on the candidate's interests and needs.

Main Duties

The post holder will be expected to work flexibly in a changing health service and will be supported by an Educational Supervisor for the duration of their training. The successful candidate will be eligible for registration with the GMC and will have MRCP or equivalent.
