Job Summary

The Efficiency and Productivity Insight Team in the NHS England Finance and Planning Directorate is now recruiting for a Manager of Efficiency and Productivity Insight (band 8a). This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the heart of work to support the NHS.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Manager of Efficiency and Productivity Insight. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the monthly reporting of productivity and efficiency savings across different sectors.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of productivity and efficiency initiatives across the NHS.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
  • Provide analytical support to inform decision-making and drive business improvement.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce high-quality analytical reports and insights.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize appropriately and deliver in a timely manner.
  • Knowledge of the NHS financial regime and experience of working in a similar role.
