Manager of Efficiency and Productivity Insights

The Efficiency and Productivity Insights Team in the NHS England Finance and Planning Directorate is seeking a Manager of Efficiency and Productivity Insights to join our team.
Job SummaryThis is a fantastic opportunity to be at the heart of work to support the NHS. We work closely with government to agree NHS funding, ensure the NHS lives within its annual budget, and decide how to distribute the funding to the different NHS services and parts of England.
Key Responsibilities- Support the monthly reporting of productivity and efficiency savings across different sectors.
- Collaborate with the team to develop high-profile, fast-paced projects that require adaptability, rigor, and innovation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across NHS England, including regional colleagues and the wider NHS ICBs and Providers.
- Collect and examine complex information to create high-quality reports, using sound analysis and judgment to diagnose problems and make effective decisions.
- Good analytical skills and experience within the NHS sector, including experience of using finance, activity, and operational data.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience of using Alteryx, SQL, PowerBI.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience of working with different teams across NHS England.
- Experience of collating and examining complex information to create high-quality reports.
