Community Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Community Support Specialist to join our team in Glasgow. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals on their journey to recovery from alcohol and drug use.
Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, providing one-to-one appointments and group work sessions. You will be responsible for assessing client needs, developing personalized support plans, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality support services to clients, promoting independence and well-being
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to ensure seamless service delivery
- Assess client needs, develop and implement effective support plans
- Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new initiatives and projects
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare or equivalent qualification
- Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) or meet the registration requirements
- Experience working in a health, social care, or related setting
- Knowledge and understanding of delivering evidence-based interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
We offer a competitive salary of £25,500 - £33,500 per annum, dependent on experience, as well as:
- 28 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
