We are seeking a skilled and experienced Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at NHS Lanarkshire. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will provide a full administrative and secretarial service to a multi-disciplinary team, including the management of information systems and the co-ordination of the clinical referral system.

Job Description

This is a Band 3 / Fixed-Term - 1 year / Full Time / 37 hours position. You will be required to have a minimum of 27 days annual leave increasing with length of service (pro-rata for part-time staff), a minimum of 8 days of public holidays, membership of NHS Pension Scheme, with life insurance benefits, paid sick leave increasing with length of service, occupational health services, employee counselling services, and work-life balance policies and procedures.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a RSA3/SVQ3/NC in Secretarial Studies or equivalent, proficient IT Skills which include a working knowledge of Microsoft office packages, ECDL or working towards or equivalent, previous experience in health or social care setting, experience of handling sensitive information, and proficient in audio typing.
