Adult Support Worker Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Adult Care Assistant to join our team at Go:Be Search Ltd in Coatbridge, Scotland. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a difference in people's lives.
The ideal candidate will have a valid SVQ2 (or be working towards it) and experience of delivering person-centred care to residents within a care home setting. They will also possess excellent communication and organisational skills, which are essential for success in this role.
- Permanent, Full-Time Shifts: 44 or 33 hours per week

About the Role:
This role involves working as part of a close-knit care team to deliver high-quality care to residents in a care home setting. The successful candidate will work closely with other team members to ensure that residents receive the best possible care.
- Promote residents' independence and dignity
- Organise activities to engage residents and promote social interaction
- Assist with meal preparation and serving, as well as clearing up afterwards
- Provide support to healthcare professionals when required
- Report any changes in residents' condition to the nurse on duty
- Ensure resident property and belongings are cared for and maintained
- Maintain equipment and report defects to managers
- Accompany residents to external activities and events
- Provide personal care support to residents
- Clean spills using proper equipment and maintain a clean environment
- Perform other duties as necessary to ensure the smooth running of the care home
Requirements:
- Valid SVQ2 (or working towards) in Health and Social Care
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Possess a passion for delivering high-quality care and making a difference in people's lives
