Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Underwriting: You will be responsible for underwriting fleet policies and providing technical guidance on underwriting matters to ensure that our decisions are grounded in sound underwriting principles.
  • Portfolio Management: You will be responsible for managing our commercial motor portfolio, ensuring that it remains diverse, resilient, and aligned with our strategic objectives.
  • Decision-Making Team: As a member of our decision-making team, you will contribute to discussions on risk appetite, product innovation, and market positioning.
  • Policy Development: You will be responsible for contributing to the creation and refinement of policy wordings and documentation, ensuring that they meet the needs of our customers and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance Oversight: You will work closely with our Risk & Compliance team to ensure that our underwriting practices are compliant with internal processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Commercial Motor Expertise: Your deep understanding of commercial motor insurance will enrich our underwriting processes, and you will identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
  • Documentation Management: You will ensure that our policy wordings and documentation are clear, accurate, and legally sound, and that our customers and partners understand their coverage and obligations.
  • Statistical Analysis: You will be responsible for compiling and analysing statistical data to provide valuable insights for strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.
About You
  • Knowledge: You have a deep understanding of commercial motor fleet insurance and portfolio underwriting.
  • Experience: Your track record demonstrates your proficiency in portfolio management and decision-making in the commercial fleet market.
  • Problem-Solving: Your analytical skills and strategic mindset enable you to identify opportunities and overcome challenges.
  • Analytical Acumen: You are skilled in compiling and analysing statistical data to inform strategic decisions.
