Special Needs Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Special Needs Support Assistant to join our team at a vibrant primary school in North London. As an integral part of our inclusive education team, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
Your focus will be on ensuring that every child feels confident and capable in their learning, whether in small group settings or one-to-one support. You will work closely with the class teacher to differentiate the curriculum and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to meet individual learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with ASD and other SEND needs.

- Support the class teacher in differentiating the curriculum to meet individual learning needs.
- Help create an engaging, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Work closely with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
