About the Role:

As an Emotional Support Specialist at Peasgood & Skeates, you will play a vital role in supporting families during difficult times. Your primary responsibility will be to provide compassionate and empathetic care to individuals dealing with grief and loss.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will work closely with clients to understand their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with funeral home staff, clergy, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Demonstrate expertise in emotional support and counseling techniques.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £34,000 - £38,000 per annum (basic pay £26,000 p.a.) with additional overtime and allowances circa. £8K - £12K p.a.
  • A comprehensive benefits package including a staff discretionary bonus scheme and opportunities for professional development.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably within the funeral industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Excellent problem-solving and crisis management skills.
