About the Role

As a Child Care Worker, you will be providing a therapeutic care and support environment for children and young people with ASD, autism, and emotional behaviour challenges. You will be working in a 4-bedroom EBD service, supporting children and young people in their everyday living needs, and developing trusting relationships to create recovery, growth, and lasting change.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people
• Support children and young people with their individual needs, including emotional and behavioural challenges
• Develop trusting relationships with children and young people to create a positive and supportive environment
• Work collaboratively with the team to provide a high-quality care service

What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a caring, resilient, and committed mindset towards caring for children. You will also need experience of working with adults or children with learning disabilities or living care experience. A Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People is desirable but not essential.
