Logistics Coordinator

Our client, a leading food waste recycling company, is seeking a skilled Logistics Planner to join their team. As a key member of the Supply Chain Department, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive logistics plan to ensure the efficient collection and conversion of edible oils and food fats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a robust weekly logistics plan to optimize supply chain operations.
- Coordinate with drivers to allocate collections and deliveries in accordance with WTD/Drivers hours rules.
- Manage customer and supplier relationships to ensure optimum efficiency of the fleet.
- Book third-party haulage as required to achieve plans in support of internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with the production team and Supply Chain Manager to manage material flow in/out.
- Support the implementation and development of systems to improve logistics operations.
