Salary: £26k-£30k

Hours: Mon-Friday

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Transport Co-ordinator/ Planner to join our team in Brough. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the transportation of goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement a robust logistics plan to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
  2. Liaise with drivers and other stakeholders to allocate collections and deliveries in accordance with regulations.
  3. Collaborate with customers and suppliers to plan and optimize logistics operations.
  4. Manage imports and exports, coordinating haulage and preparing relevant paperwork as required.
  5. Work closely with the production team and Supply Chain Manager to manage material flow.
  6. Support the implementation and development of systems to improve logistics operations.
  7. Contribute to stock control and inventory management.
  8. Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics or a related field.
  9. Planning experience is preferred but not essential.
