Logistics Coordinator

Hours: Mon-Friday
About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Transport Co-ordinator/ Planner to join our team in Brough. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the transportation of goods and materials.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a robust transportation plan to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Liaise with drivers and other stakeholders to allocate collections and deliveries in accordance with regulations.
- Collaborate with customers and suppliers to plan and optimize logistics operations.
- Manage imports and exports, coordinating haulage and preparing relevant paperwork as required.
- Work closely with the production team and Supply Chain Manager to manage material flow.
- Support the implementation and development of systems to improve logistics operations.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of stock control systems.
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a minimum of 1 year's experience in logistics. Planning experience is preferred but not essential.
