Job Title: Logistics Scheduler/Planner

At Edwards & Pearce, we are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Scheduler/Planner to join our team. As a key member of our Supply Chain Department, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive logistics plan for our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a robust weekly logistics plan to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of our services.
  • Coordinate with drivers to allocate collections and deliveries in accordance with WTD/Drivers hours rules.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to effectively handle complaints, events, and non-conformances.
  • Manage imports and exports of product, coordinating haulage and preparing relevant paperwork as required.
  • Work closely with the production team and Supply Chain Manager to manage material flow in and out.
  • Support the implementation and development of systems to drive continuous improvement throughout the logistics operation.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in logistics planning and coordination.
