Our client, a leading food waste recycling company, is seeking a skilled Logistics Scheduler/Planner to join their team. As a key member of the Supply Chain Department, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive logistics plan to ensure the efficient collection and conversion of edible oils and food fats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a robust weekly logistics plan to optimize the supply chain process.
- Coordinate with drivers to allocate collections and deliveries in accordance with WTD/Drivers hours rules.
- Manage imports and exports of product, coordinating haulage and preparing relevant paperwork as required.
- Work closely with the production team and Supply Chain Manager to manage material flow in/out.
- Support the implementation and development of systems to improve logistics operations.
Requirements:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in logistics planning software and systems.
