Job Title: Logistics Scheduler/Planner

Our client, a leading food waste recycling company, is seeking a skilled Logistics Scheduler/Planner to join their team. As a key member of the Supply Chain Department, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive logistics plan to ensure the efficient collection and conversion of edible oils and food fats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a robust weekly logistics plan to optimize the supply chain process.
  • Coordinate with drivers to allocate collections and deliveries in accordance with WTD/Drivers hours rules.
  • Manage imports and exports of product, coordinating haulage and preparing relevant paperwork as required.
  • Work closely with the production team and Supply Chain Manager to manage material flow in/out.
  • Support the implementation and development of systems to improve logistics operations.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
