About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Practitioner to join our team at Croydon Council. As a key member of our social work team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders, and developing and implementing evidence-based practices to improve outcomes for children and families.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide high-quality social work practice and services to children and families.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports.

Requirements

  • A qualified social worker registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience working in children's social care, preferably in a senior practitioner role.
  • Knowledge of systemic practice, child development, and family dynamics.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
