Imaging Administration Role

We are seeking an experienced administrator to join our Imaging Administration Team at Spire Cardiff. This role will suit someone who is highly organized and able to manage workload efficiently.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Booking and recording patient details and appointments on the system via telephone, face to face, and referral letter.
  • Greeting, welcoming, and providing assistance to patients, consultants, and visitors.
  • Registering new or follow-up patients for procedures, outpatient consultations, or pre-op assessments.
  • Providing and receiving patient information, ensuring compliance with data protection, information governance, and Spire policies.
  • Providing reception cover and general administrative support to the Imaging department.
  • Being flexible with working hours to suit the needs of the business and requirements of the Imaging Department.
  • Promoting a friendly, professional, and positive attitude at all times.
  • Ensuring the administrative aspect of the patient journey is efficient with excellent levels of customer service.
  • Excellent communication with patients, colleagues, and other customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Issuing imaging reports in a timely manner, adhering to information governance to ensure they are issued to the correct referring clinician.
  • Managing email enquiries and referrals in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

  • Highly organized and able to manage workload efficiently.
  • Experience in an administrative role or similar environment would be beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Good computer skills and competent with Microsoft Office packages.
  • A team player confident in interacting with diverse people.

Working Hours: Between Monday - Saturday 07:30 - 20:00, fully flexible to cover annual leave and absence.

Contract Type: Bank.
