Skilled Carpenter Required for Residential Housing Association

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our Property Team in Oxfordshire. As a Carpenter, you will carry out all forms of carpentry repairs in our properties, including 1st fix and 2nd fix carpentry, installing windows, doors, and UPVC servicing.

You will also be responsible for locksmithing, gaining entry via lock snapping, drilling, and picking, as well as all types of fencing, posts, feather edge, chain link, and panels. Additionally, you will assist with kitchen fitting, kitchen building, and minor joinery.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience within a similar role, ideally from within a Residential/Housing sector, and be qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 2 or have a minimum of 5 years proven track record working in carpentry.

You will have a strong health and safety mindset with knowledge of health & safety best practices and enjoy working as part of a team. This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, with the opportunity to supplement your salary through call-out and overtime at competitive rates.

Due to the requirement to travel, you must hold a full and current driving licence with a minimum of 1 year's experience and have the ability to drive and take home a company van.

This role is subject to a satisfactory licence check, essential qualifications check, and a basic DBS disclosure.
