Administrative Support Specialist

This role is for a highly skilled Personal Assistant who will be working in the Secretarial & Business Support department of a Not For Profit organisation based in Lancaster. The PA will provide critical support to the Headteacher and the rest of the SLT, ensuring smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Headteacher, including coordinating schedules, appointments, and deadlines.
- Prepare agendas, take notes during meetings, and track follow-up actions.
- Act as a key point of contact for the Headteacher, liaising effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Organise and manage relevant documents and files, ensuring accurate and timely information.
- Assist with the preparation of presentations and reports, using office software such as MS Word and Excel.
- Contribute positively to the team and the wider school community, upholding the values and standards of the institution.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work in a team and independently.
- Proficiency in using office software, such as MS Word and Excel, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Confidence in dealing with a range of people and tasks, with a positive and proactive attitude.
- A competitive salary in the region of £27,000 - £35,000.
