Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

The role of SEN Teaching Assistant is to provide support to pupils with special educational needs in a school setting. The ideal candidate will have an academic background and experience working with pupils in a support role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide academic support to pupils with special educational needs
  • Work with teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation
  • Support pupils with behavior management and emotional well-being
Requirements:
  • Academic background (degree or similar)
  • Experience working with pupils in a support role
  • Ability to work full-time school hours, term-time only
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience with EBD (Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties)
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training
Contract Details:
  • Location: Batley
  • Position: Teaching Assistant
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Duration: Ongoing
  • Full-time/part-time: Full Time
  • Hours: 08:30 - 3:30
  • Minimum rate of pay: GBP 85 per day

To be eligible for this role, you must hold a Right to Work in the UK, an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate, and be registered with the online update service. You will also need to provide professional references covering the past 2 years and be Team Teach trained.
