About the Job

We are seeking an exceptional Clinical Lead for Child Protection to join our safeguarding team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of child protection services, providing expert advice and guidance, and supervising staff to ensure compliance with child safeguarding policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will have advanced knowledge and skills in child safeguarding, multi-agency working, and leadership. You will work closely with internal and external partners to share best practices and improve outcomes for children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of child protection services
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on child safeguarding matters
  • Supervise and support staff to ensure compliance with child safeguarding policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant field
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • Specialist practitioner or equivalent experience in child safeguarding and multi-agency working
  • Leadership or management qualification or evidence of considerable experience in this area
