Main Responsibilities:

The Head of Docking and Maintenance will be responsible for developing and maintaining the overall docking and maintenance strategy for the fleet of vessels. This will include managing commercial framework agreements, overseeing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

The role will also involve managing programme risk, developing and managing substitute vessel provision agreements, and negotiating large docking contracts. Additionally, the Head of Docking and Maintenance will be responsible for ensuring an outage programme that is matched to the available budget, the statutory docking cycle, and availability requirements in each Service Delivery area.

The successful candidate will have experience in the docking, refit, and repair of small to medium-sized commercial vessels, as well as senior management experience in maritime design and/or engineering programs. They will also have a strong understanding of Class, Flag, and Naval Requirements, as well as detailed marine engineering knowledge.
