At NielsenIQ, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our data.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate production software to fulfill client requirements and meet delivery schedules 100% on time and without rework.
- Control, support, and initiate processes that collect and load electronic files from data suppliers into backend systems.
- Oversee the validation and aggregation of data used to supply National and International Book charts.
- Support systems by following correct procedures following system failures or data errors.
- Undertake project work and support new initiatives where requested by Manager without impacting 'business as usual' targets.
- Minimum Entry Level GCSE English and Maths.
- Ability to manipulate data within MS Excel.
- Experience analyzing, validating, or reconciling data.
- Knowledge of command line editors in Unix and Linux.
- Knowledge of relational databases and/or SQL script writing.
- Previous experience with Cognos or other BI tool.
- Previous experience of Book Retailing, Publishing, EPoS Systems, or Market Research.
