Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to work with young people in schools and other establishments across Renfrewshire.

  • The successful candidate will have experience in caring for children of various ages, including Pre 5, Primary, and Secondary.
  • Demonstrable literacy and numeracy skills are essential for this role, as is proficiency in ICT equipment and associated software packages.

This position is temporary, lasting for approximately nine months or until the requirement ceases, whichever date comes first.

About the Role

In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will work closely with young people who require additional support. You must be able to demonstrate patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing care and support to children of various age groups. Your ability to establish strong relationships with both children and colleagues will be vital to your success in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must possess relevant experience working with children, particularly those with additional support needs. Your knowledge of literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills will also be crucial in ensuring the success of our young pupils.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is £25,000 - £30,000 based on national averages and location. Please note that salaries may vary depending on factors such as qualifications, experience, and performance.
