Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Teacher to work in Primary schools in and around Llantrisant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and learning, and be able to lead a classroom of learners in Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a classroom of learners and welcome them at the start of the day
  • Prepare the classroom for lessons and plan work where required
  • Work with learners in small groups and/or one-to-one with children with additional needs
  • Deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Assist learners at break time with their lunch where required
  • Engage learners with both classroom and out-of-classroom activities
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of teaching experience (exceptions made for NQTs)
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalent
  • Registration as a Teacher with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - we can help you with this
  • References covering the last two years (no gaps)
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
  • The right to work in the UK
