Job Overview
  • Job Title: Primary Teacher
  • Pay: £165 per day minimum
  • Location: Llantrisant
  • Hours: Ad Hoc, Short Term, and Long Term - Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm

The Role
  • Lead a Classroom: Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2
  • Welcome Learners: At the start of the day
  • Prepare the Classroom: For lessons and plan work where required
  • Work with Learners: In small groups and/or working 1:1 with children with additional needs
  • Deliver Lessons: In line with the national curriculum
  • Assist Learners: At break time with their lunch where required
  • Engage Learners: With both classroom and out-of-classroom activities
  • Behaviour Management: Work in accordance with the school's policies
The Candidate
  • Experience: At least 1 year teaching experience (exceptions made for NQTs)
  • Qualifications: Hold Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalent
  • Registration: Registration as a Teacher with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - we can help you with this
  • References: Covering the last two years (no gaps)
  • DBS: Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
  • Right to Work: The right to work in the UK
