Job Description

About the Role:

The Purchase Ledger Coordinator will provide day-to-day support primarily to the Finance Department. The post-holder will report directly to the Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cross reference purchase orders to invoices
  • Liaise with suppliers and respond to correspondence
  • Filing, photocopying, printing, and scanning
  • Support day-to-day office activities
  • Manage stationery stock and order supplies as required
  • Handle incoming and outgoing post
  • Support the Finance Manager with a range of administrative tasks
  • Perform ad hoc administrative tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint
  • Good level of GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • A clear understanding of working with confidential and sensitive information
  • Ability to prioritize, work accurately, and efficiently
  • Must be planned and organized, with the ability to work with regularly changing priorities and timescales
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The confidence to communicate with all levels of seniority
  • Organized and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and time-management skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent numerical skills
  • Proactive and organized, with a strong attention to detail
  • A 'hands-on' approach to work

Experience:

  • Of working within a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) company
  • Previous experience using Microsoft Office would be beneficial, but training will be provided
