About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Aon Underwriting Managers. As an Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our underwriting business, working closely with stakeholders across the organization to deliver high-quality services and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate as the primary point of contact for operational queries from underwriting and claims teams
  • Collaborate with underwriting and claims teams to review and improve existing processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency and cost savings
  • Support the growth of our business by working with product development teams to structure processes for new products and services
  • Investigate and resolve ad hoc queries or challenges, identifying root causes and implementing solutions
  • Monitor and support the adoption of standard processes and procedures
  • Collaborate with onshore teams to ensure that services provided by our offshore partners meet agreed service levels
  • Manage electronic stamp production through product renewal cycles
  • Assess and raise requests for system or reporting changes from underwriting and claims teams
  • Support management and reporting of gross premium income limits

Requirements

  • Proven experience in operations within the insurance industry
  • Technical knowledge of Lloyd's/London Market and non-Lloyd's processes
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and resourceful individual with excellent stakeholder relationship management skills
  • Experience in structuring and delivering new initiatives or projects
  • Understanding of electronic trading via PPL
  • Knowledge of process analysis, streamlining, and improvement
