We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Orchid Healthcare. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered to our residents.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Manager in planning and implementing care strategies, managing and motivating a team of care staff, and ensuring the smooth running of the care home. You will be required to work autonomously and independently, building strong relationships with the management and care staff throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the development and implementation of care plans to meet the needs of our residents
- Manage and motivate a team of care staff to deliver high-quality care
- Contribute to the maintenance and assessment of the home's high-quality care standards
- Organise and participate in inductions and orientations of new care staff
- Liaise with other healthcare professionals and members of the multi-disciplinary team
- Perform administrative duties as required
- NVQ3 or higher in a relevant field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in a Team Leader or Deputy Manager role
- Passion for elderly and dementia care
We offer a competitive salary of up to £35,000 per annum and the opportunity to work in a reputable care home with a Good CQC rating. If you are a motivated and experienced individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality care, we would love to hear from you.
