Deputy Care Home Manager Job Description

TRC Yorkshire is currently recruiting for a Deputy Care Home Manager to join our team in Eye. As a Deputy Care Home Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing operations within the care home to achieve goals and ensure high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing daily operations, including overseeing care staff and assuming full management in the absence of the Home Manager.
  • Train and supervise care staff in all aspects of their work, promoting a culture of excellence and high-quality care.
  • Conduct pre-admission assessments of residents, ensure accurate care plans and daily records, and foster effective communication with residents' families and external organizations.
  • Engage with service users to understand their needs and provide exceptional care services.
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staffing teams.
Requirements:
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
  • Ability to promote ownership of care programs by involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating care programs.
  • Comprehensive induction and training program.
