We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Trust Financial Assistant to join our Central Services Team at Saint John Southworth Catholic Academy Trust. As a Trust Financial Assistant, you will provide essential support to the finance function, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes across the Trust.

About the Role

You will work closely with the Finance Manager and other team members to support budgeting, record-keeping, compliance, and reporting tasks. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing annual budgets, long-term financial plans, and end-of-year procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records, including managing orders, invoices, petty cash, and reconciliations.
  • Supporting the administration of school journey accounts, bursaries, and online payment systems.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial policies, procedures, and external regulations.
  • Developing and maintaining spreadsheets, reports, and other financial documents.

The estimated salary for this role is around £27,000 - £33,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a dynamic and supportive working environment, with opportunities for professional development and career progression.
