Care Worker in Housing with Care Setting

Care Support Workers play a vital role in enabling individuals to reach their full potential in an Extra care Housing setting.
Key Responsibilities- To provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- To work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all residents.
- To participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans, working closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals as needed.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Care Support Worker (Housing with Care) at Cowan Court. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing excellent care and support to residents, ensuring they receive the highest level of service possible.
Requirements- A SVQ2 in Care, Direct Care or equivalent; if not already held, must obtain within 3 years of starting in post.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to understand written instructions and perform daily tasks.
- Domestic experience of undertaking household tasks and awareness of the roles of other people in the provision of care.
- Ability to work without direct supervision, have a responsible and self-reliant approach, and respond to unplanned situations in a calm and flexible manner.
This permanent position involves working 52 weeks per year, with varying hours depending on the specific job requirements (3 x 17.5 hours per week, 1 x 24 hours per week).
Salary InformationThe minimum actual salary for this position is £13,776 per annum based on 17.5 hours over 52 weeks per year. For those working 24 hours per week, the minimum actual salary is £18,988 per annum.
