Ark People Housing Care is recruiting a Relief Support Worker to join our team in Edinburgh.

This role provides an opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals and contribute to their well-being.

The salary for this position is £12 per hour, offering flexibility to fit around your life with no guaranteed regular hours.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and empathetic individual to work as part of our support team, providing care and support to people with varying needs.

Your main duties will include:

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to provide effective support to individuals
  • Communicating and building relationships with supported people to deliver individualized care
  • Supporting individuals throughout activities, providing positive feedback and encouragement

This relief role offers the flexibility to pick up shifts that suit you, allowing you to balance your work and personal life. You will be responsible for carrying out all duties while on shift, similar to our Support Workers.

No previous experience is required, as Ark provides full training. We value candidates who are passionate about supporting others and making a positive impact.
