FBR Construction Recruitment is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join a prestigious contractor specializing in Facade and Building Envelope solutions. This reputable firm is dedicated to delivering high-quality facade and external envelope products across various sectors.

  • Oversee project budgets ranging from £25,000 to over £3 million
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, typically 3-4 at a time
  • Primarily office-based position with occasional site visits
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive surveying team
  • Responsible for cost reporting and financial forecasting
  • Monitor and analyze monthly application figures
  • Review labor schedules and assess site progress
  • Ensure adherence to subcontractor agreements
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers
  • Coordinate subcontractors and manage contracts
  • Procure orders from subcontractors
  • Deliver timely reports and actionable recommendations
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
  • Valid driving license
  • Strong understanding of construction principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated
  • Excellent team player with strong communication skills
