About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Special Needs Education Specialist to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Level 3 HLTA, you will play a crucial role in shaping the futures of our students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tailored Interventions: Design and deliver targeted one-on-one and small group interventions to address the unique needs of each student, from autism and ADHD to sensory impairments and beyond.
  • Positive Behavioral Support: Champion and implement positive behavior strategies to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued.
  • Progress Monitoring & Feedback: Conduct detailed observations and assessments to closely monitor each student's progress, providing valuable insights and feedback to the wider team, including parents and carers.
Requirements
  • Experience: Ideally, you have experience working with children with SEN in an educational setting, with knowledge of various SEN, including autism spectrum disorders, sensory impairments, and communication needs.
