Special Education Needs Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled SEN Teacher to join our expert team at a specialist SEN school in Bolton. As an SEN Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students with mild to complex Special Educational Needs.
Key Responsibilities- Individualised Education Plans: Develop and implement tailored education plans that address the unique needs of each student, focusing on both academic and life skills.
- Specialised Support: Provide high-quality teaching and support to students with complex SEN, ensuring their needs are met through sensory, communication, and physical activities.
- Positive Behaviour Support: Implement positive behaviour strategies that foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere, enabling all students to reach their full potential.
- Progress Monitoring: Conduct detailed assessments, closely tracking each student's progress and providing insightful feedback to the wider team, including parents and carers.
- Qualified Teacher Status: Must have QTS with experience in teaching children with SEN in an educational setting.
- Specialist Experience: Knowledge of sensory-based teaching approaches, communication aids, assistive technology, Moving and Handling, or Team Teach training will be advantageous.
