As a dedicated professional, you will have the opportunity to work with children who require support with their communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language needs of students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each child's unique requirements.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each child's development.
- Provide guidance and training to school staff on effective communication strategies within the classroom.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, making adjustments to therapy plans as necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant research, techniques, and best practices in speech and language therapy.
Requirements:
- Qualified Speech & Language Therapist with relevant degree and registration with the appropriate regulatory body.
- Demonstrated experience working with children, particularly within a school setting.
- Passion for helping children reach their full potential and overcome communication barriers.
