Are you passionate about driving delivery of the Chancellor's priorities and shaping the government's approach to the growth mission? We're seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as a Policy Monitoring and Coordination Specialist.

About the Team

The Growth Delivery Unit is a dynamic team that supports the Chancellor's goal of boosting the growth of the UK economy. We combine various skills to monitor policy progress, identify and overcome barriers to delivery, and ensure real-world outcomes.

About the Role

  • Assist and lead in gathering information across government to monitor project delivery for the Range E/Grade 7 line manager.
  • Build and manage relationships across government to support this process and wider collaboration.
  • Understand policies, projects, growth mission, and drivers; communicate effectively; identify important issues; identify risks and blockers.
  • Work with colleagues across government to come up with effective and creative solutions to problems and barriers to delivery.
  • Assist the Range E/Grade 7 line manager in effectively communicating delivery updates and proposed solutions to senior officials, special advisors, and ministers.
  • Present information through innovative products like project dashboards.
  • Contribute to team culture and wellbeing by taking an active responsibility for the team's knowledge management and supporting the induction of new team members.
