**Climate Policy Role**


This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of HM Treasury's Climate and Environment Team, leading on Green Growth within the Climate Strategy Unit.


As a Policy Adviser, you will play a key role in shaping policy to drive a net-zero transition and support long-term growth. You will be responsible for developing expertise in the relationship between net zero and growth, assessing and shaping growth policy in line with net-zero objectives, and using critical thinking and analytical skills to ensure a clear strategy for this policy area.


The role requires strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate differing sources of evidence and apply considered judgement to come to conclusions. You will also need to build positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, utilising these to deliver your objectives.


This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference to people's lives and wants to contribute to HM Treasury's work on climate change, net zero, and the natural environment.
