As a Junior BEMS Energy Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the BEMS Manager in improving energy efficiency, environment monitoring, and carbon emissions across the property portfolio.

Your focus will be on best practice energy management, ensuring the built environment is optimized for energy efficiency while maintaining user comfort. Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the first line of support, working with the Facilities Management Helpdesk in Leeds and FM Engineering colleagues to identify, review data, and resolve BEMS and HVAC faults.
  • Focusing on remote analytics (e.g., monitoring and targeting, measurement and verification) and optimization of building energy management systems (BEMS).
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders across the business and supply chain to deliver energy savings.

To succeed in this role, you will need experience in the energy, low-carbon, or related industry, as well as a good understanding of energy management principles, building services, and controls (BEMS, Trend). Experience with building energy management systems (BEMS) installation, maintenance, operation, and optimization is also essential.

As a Junior BEMS Energy Manager, you can expect a competitive salary of £35,000 - £41,000 depending on experience, plus a 6% bonus potential. You will also receive annual leave of 22.5 days plus bank holidays and work full-time hours of 37.5 per week.
