About the Role

The successful candidate will work as an Electrical Control and Instrumentation Technician, delivering preventative maintenance of electrical systems, controls, and instrumentation. They will be responsible for attending to reactive/correct maintenance, fault finding, completing repairs/replacements/calibration to instruments, and installation of new systems/equipment. Additionally, the candidate will commission new systems, following BS767 18th Edition guidelines. They will work on various sites using the company van and fuel card.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery of preventative maintenance of electrical systems, controls, and instrumentation
  • Attending to reactive/correct maintenance, fault finding, and completing repairs/replacements/calibration to instruments
  • Installation of new systems/equipment and commissioning
  • Following BS767 18th Edition guidelines
  • Working on various sites using the company van and fuel card

Requirements

  • Successful completion of ONC/HNC in engineering (or equivalent), NVQ, or C&G Level 3 Electrical
  • 18th Edition certification
  • Industrial experience
  • Instrumentation experience
  • Telemetry connection experience
  • Valid UK driving license
