About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Casual Support Worker to join our team in St Austell, Cornwall. As a Casual Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs to live the lives they choose.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care and hygiene, medication administration, and support with daily living tasks.
- Support individuals with preparing and cooking meals, attending medical appointments, and engaging in social activities.
- Keep accurate records and update care plans as required, ensuring the highest standards of care and support.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a comprehensive support service, promoting independence and well-being.
Requirements:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals and colleagues.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings, to meet the needs of our customers.
- Willingness to learn and develop skills, with a commitment to ongoing training and professional development.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
