Responsibilities

The Senior Maintenance Surveyor will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Providing expert technical assistance within the Maintenance Team
  • Overseeing property surveys, preparing specifications and schedules, and managing the procurement of works
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards
  • Responding to customer enquiries and complaints
  • Maintaining accurate records of all surveys, inspections, and instructions
  • Overseeing procurement of works, ensuring transparency and compliance with policies and procedures
  • Preparing specifications, work schedules, and cost estimates
  • Monitoring contractor performance
  • Assisting in evaluating service charges for 'Right to Buy' applications
  • Attending and contributing to public meetings, customer panels, and other relevant forums
  • Complying with all Health and Safety policies and regulations
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance professional skills and capabilities

We estimate that the salary for this position will be around £65,000-£85,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
