Rheumatology Consultant Position in South Wales

We are seeking an ambitious doctor to join our team as a Rheumatology Consultant, providing high-quality healthcare to the Health Board's patients across Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, and Pembrokeshire.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a senior medical professional to work closely with clinical, medical, and managerial colleagues in delivering exceptional patient care.
- Develop and maintain expertise in Rheumatology, contributing to the continued development and quality of Rheumatology services provided by the Health Board.
- Work collaboratively with existing Consultants, Specialists, and Nurses to achieve outstanding results.
The successful candidate will be committed to delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care, adhering to GMC guidelines and NHS standards.

Clinical Experience and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will require:
- Broad-based experience in Rheumatology, with a strong understanding of UK hospital systems (or equivalent).
- Participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and adherence to GMC's 'Good Medical Practice' guidelines.
- Competence and expertise in Rheumatology, demonstrated through evidence of above-average performance.
- Able to apply knowledge safely and effectively, utilizing excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge and experience of communicating bad news, meeting GMC standards.
As a Rheumatology Consultant, you can expect a competitive salary range of £105,000 - £155,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
