About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rheumatology Consultant to join our team at Hywel Dda University Health Board. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with rheumatological conditions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective rheumatology services to meet the needs of our patients
  • Work closely with other clinical teams to ensure seamless care pathways
  • Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to the development of our rheumatology department

Person Specification

  • Full GMC Registration and Licence to Practice
  • On Specialist Register with GMC or CCT due within 6 months of interview date
  • Or CESR or equivalent European Qualifications for Specialist Registration
  • MRCP or equivalent

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Appropriate Higher Degree e.g. MD, PhD or MSc or equivalent
  • On Specialist Register
  • Experience of NHS
  • Wider experience, research and training in providing sub specialty service
