As an Accounts Assistant Manager, you will take ownership of client relationships, providing strategic insights and delivering financial expertise. You will also have the opportunity to lead and mentor junior staff, reviewing their work and supporting their professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a varied client portfolio, acting as the main point of contact for queries and advisory services.
  • Prepare and review financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly management accounts, offering valuable insights for business decisions.
  • Prepare and review VAT returns, ensuring compliance with current legislation.

What We're Looking For:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience working in an accountancy practice, with strong technical accounting skills.
  • Confident using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and Excel.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependant on experience.
