Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Acute Dialysis and RITA team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of our Trust's vision to be an outstanding, patient-led organisation.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in haemodialysis and plasma exchange. You will be working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with renal conditions, including those requiring acute dialysis and RITA interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage dialysis for all inpatients, including chronic and AKI patients, and provide comprehensive care to patients requiring plasma exchange.
  • Work within the RITA team to undertake patient assessment, assist with procedures, and administer required infusions.
  • Participate in the renal nurse on-call rota and contribute to the development of our Trust's renal services.
Person Specification

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with:

Ward experience as a qualified nurse.Demonstrable haemodialysis experience.Ability to listen and comprehend, prioritise and organise workload, manage potentially difficult situations, and plan, deliver, and evaluate interventions and/or treatments.Knowledge of current professional issues and a patient-focused approach to care.What We Offer
