We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics. As a key member of our education team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs.

About the Role:

  • Provide individualized support to a child with SEN, working closely with the class teacher to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, adapting activities to meet the diverse needs of the student.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Contribute to a supportive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional well-being.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (or relevant experience considered).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, with a flexible and patient approach.
  • Passion for working with children with SEN, with a commitment to their education and well-being.
