About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support SEN pupils in our EYFS class. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the class teacher and other teaching assistants to provide individualized support to our pupils with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum to SEN pupils
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with complex needs, including those with dual diagnosis of ASD and non-verbal
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote inclusive and accessible learning environments
  • Assist with phonics sessions and assessments on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Support the class teacher with general classroom and behavior management
Requirements
  • Full 'Right to Work' in the UK
  • Recent referenceable experience supporting children and young people
  • Ability to commit to a full-time contract
  • Ideal experience working with SEN pupils or willingness to work with SEN
  • Comfortable with intimate care, including nappy changing
