We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our team at a reputable primary school in Runcorn. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and development of our pupils, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the Reception Class Teacher to provide individualized support to pupils, promoting their academic, social, and emotional growth.
- Develop and implement engaging learning activities, incorporating the EYFS curriculum, to cater to the diverse needs of our pupils.
- Collaborate with the SENCO and Class Teacher to monitor pupil progress, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to support pupils with SEN.
- Contribute to creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love of learning and promotes pupil well-being.
- Minimum 40 days of referenceable experience working with children and young people in the last 2 years.
- Previous experience supporting SEN and working with the EYFS curriculum.
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in supporting teaching and learning (desirable).
